Details

Digital Placemaking is seeking to develop a functional prototype for their next-generation AI platform, KinesisIQ. The goal of this project is to establish the foundational data infrastructure and implement initial algorithm prototypes. This will involve validating that the designed models can effectively process real-world inputs and generate meaningful engagement insights. The project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of data engineering and machine learning in a practical setting. The tasks are closely related and focused on building and testing the AI platform's core components. The project is designed to be completed by a team of learners within a single academic program, such as computer science or data science, and is expected to be completed in under 80 hours.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a functional prototype of the KinesisIQ AI platform's data infrastructure and initial algorithm models. Learners will provide documentation detailing the data processing workflow and the algorithm's ability to generate engagement insights. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the prototype's functionality and validation results will be required. The deliverables will demonstrate the learners' ability to apply theoretical knowledge to a real-world application.
