The project focuses on creating either an AI-powered matching system or a dedicated jobs and opportunities board. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between educators, enabling them to share resources, ideas, and opportunities seamlessly. The project provides learners with the chance to apply their classroom knowledge in front-end development within the context of an education technology startup. By participating, learners will gain valuable hands-on experience in designing and coding web applications, while contributing to a meaningful cause in the education sector.
The project deliverables include a fully functional web application component that either matches educators using AI or provides a platform for listing jobs and opportunities. The component should be intuitive and easy to navigate, ensuring a positive user experience. Additionally, learners are expected to provide documentation detailing the design and development process, along with any challenges encountered and solutions implemented.

About the company
CoLab Education is a collaboration platform for teachers to share and co-create resources, discuss topics, ask questions, support one another, and improve student learning outcomes. We are a start-up that is about to launch our first version and create the largest professional network just for educators. We have early traction and are beginning to make waves in our industry. Our founder has been granted the '30 Women Entrepreneurs for 2024' award by the National Angel Capital Organization and YSpace.
